Parts Purchasing Terms and Conditions

By completing a purchase at Strictli, you (the "Buyer") agree to the following legally binding terms. Our policies are designed to protect our inventory integrity and ensure the lowest possible prices for our customers.

1. Absolute Final Sale Policy

All sales are final. Once an order has been handed to the shipping carrier, it cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged for any reason other than a verified manufacturing error.

  • Misdiagnosis: Strictli is not responsible for incorrect diagnosis. If our part does not fix your device, it is not considered defective.

  • Compatibility: It is the Buyer's responsibility to verify part numbers and model versions before purchase.

  • Software/Feature Locks: Modern manufacturers (e.g., Apple) may display "Genuine Part" warnings or disable features (FaceID, TrueTone) after a repair. These are software restrictions by the manufacturer and do not constitute a defective part. No refunds will be issued for software-pairing limitations.

2. Order Cancellations & Fees

Our fulfillment process begins immediately upon order placement.

  • Cancellation Fee: Any order cancelled before a shipping label is created will incur a 5% cancellation fee to cover non-refundable merchant processing costs.

  • In-Flight Orders: Once a shipping label is generated, the order cannot be cancelled.

  • Urgency: To attempt a cancellation, you must call 614-944-8073 immediately. We cannot guarantee email requests will be processed before shipping.

3. Technical Support & Installation Disclaimer

Strictli is a parts distributor, not a repair service.

  • Technical Support: We provide "how-to" instructions directly from the manufacturer's website as a courtesy. We do not provide live technical guidance.

  • Professional Installation Recommended: We strongly recommend repairs be performed by certified technicians.

  • Assumption of Risk: The Buyer assumes all risk of property damage (including the device being repaired), data loss, or personal injury. Strictli is not liable for any damage caused by DIY repair attempts.

  • Battery Safety: Lithium-ion batteries are volatile. Puncturing, bending, or improper handling can cause fire or explosion. Use extreme caution.

4. 90-Day Limited Manufacturing Warranty

We guarantee our parts are free from manufacturing defects for 90 days from the date of delivery.

  • The "Dry Test" Requirement: Buyers must "Dry Test" parts (connect cables without removing adhesives or mounting) before full installation. Once protective films/adhesives are removed or the part is fully seated, the warranty is limited.

  • Anti-Fraud Protections: Strictli utilizes invisible UV marking, QR codes, and serialized tracking on all components. Any attempt to return a part not sold by Strictli is considered fraud and will be reported to authorities.

  • Voided Warranty: Evidence of installation damage (torn flex cables, cracked connectors, pressure spots), ESD damage, or tampered security marks will immediately void the warranty.

5. Shipping, Risk of Loss, & Transit Damage

Strictli ensures all parts are inspected and securely packaged prior to shipment.

  • Risk of Loss: Once a package is scanned as "Delivered" by the carrier, the risk of loss or theft passes entirely to the Buyer. Strictli is not responsible for "Porch Piracy" or packages stolen after successful delivery.

  • 24-Hour Damage Window: Any part that arrives physically damaged or non-functional must be reported to support@strictli.tech within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Evidence Required: You must provide clear photos of:

    1. The exterior shipping box (showing the label and any damage).

    2. The internal packaging materials.

    3. The damage to the part and the Strictli UV/Security mark.

  • Undeliverable Packages: Strictli is not responsible for incorrect addresses. If a package is returned, the Buyer must pay a new shipping fee to have it re-sent. No refunds are issued for refused or undeliverable mail.

6. Warranty Claim & RMA Process

To exercise the 90-Day Limited Manufacturing Warranty, this process must be followed:

  • RMA Authorization: No returns will be accepted without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Email support@strictli.tech to begin a claim.

  • Return Shipping: The Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and insurance associated with returning the part to Strictli for inspection.

  • Resolution: If the part is found to have a genuine manufacturing defect, Strictli will, at its discretion, provide a replacement part or store credit. No cash or credit card refunds will be issued for warranty claims.

7. Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability

By purchasing tools, replacement parts, or repair kits from Strictli, you acknowledge and agree that electronic device repair carries inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to, damage to your device, irreversible data loss, and personal injury (such as cuts from shattered glass or burns from punctured lithium-ion batteries).

Strictli provides these tools and parts "as is" and acts strictly as a retailer of these goods. We are not responsible for any damage to your personal property, loss of data, or personal injury that occurs before, during, or after the repair process.

The buyer assumes 100% of the risk and liability associated with the use, misuse, or inability to use our products. We highly recommend that all repairs be performed in a safe environment, using proper safety equipment (such as safety glasses and anti-static tools), and following official manufacturer or professional repair guidelines.
